Reporting to an experienced Income Manager, you’ll work collaboratively with the Service Charge Manager, Leasehold Officer, Asset Management Team and Growth Team to ensure that existing and new services are correctly costed to maximise recovery and that there is a clear understanding of the impact to customers in terms of charging.


With sound experience of service charge reconciliation and charging you will set up and maintain regular (quarterly/monthly) Service Charge actual to budget reports for the Service Charge Team, providing accurate, robust and transparent financial data to enable production of the annual accounts for all relevant customers. You will also work collaboratively with the Assistant Financial Accountant and Service Charge Manager to prepare and implement the annual rent and service charge review, ensuring that customers are notified of any changes within specified timeframes.


This is a hands-on role which is as much about effective collaborative working with colleagues as it is about successfully preparing and presenting financial information. Suitably experienced, you’ll be customer focussed with the ability to communicate with colleagues and external partners in line with our clients high-performance culture.


At the time of advertising, due to the current pandemic, our client’s office-based teams are working from their own homes and their interactions with colleagues and external partners are through virtual means. They will continue to operate in this way until they are satisfied that the health, safety and wellbeing of their staff and customers can be guaranteed before returning to their head office in Stretford, Manchester.
