Our client is seeking a passionate, experienced professional to lead, develop and manage the Treasury and Financial Planning team. In this vital role you will oversee the their debt portfolio and provide guidance to the wider Finance team who actively influence operational financial decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business.

 

You’ll need to feel comfortable being the Association’s expert in the following areas:-

  • Overseeing the 30-year business plan taking into consideration any current and future corporate activities, and ensuring the plan is appropriately funded. 
  • Supporting the Chief Financial Officer by ensuring decision making is well informed by appropriate analytics, identifying risks and mitigation options.
  • Development of our Brixx model as an effective management tool.
  • Develop, lead and manage Estuary’s treasury strategy, ensuring the business plan is adequately funded in accordance with Treasury Policy.

 

To be successful in this role you must:

  • Be a qualified Accountant with significant post qualification experience.
  • Have a sound understanding of the challenges facing the housing sector, and the regulatory and legal frameworks we operate within.
  • Have experience of Financial Planning – ability to model and stress-test various scenarios using Brixx software.
  • Have extensive business planning experience in the social housing sector.
  • Possess Treasury experience and / or an appropriate Treasury qualification. 
  • Be a natural coach, with the ability to lead and manage through others and develop the team and other colleagues to perform to their best.
