Senior Management Accountant

My client is looking to recruit an immediately available Senior Management Accountant for a 12 month contract.

Working closely with key internal stakeholders, you will provide them with dedicated support on all commercial drivers at agency, department and client level.

• Leading the preparation of timely and accurate management account packs
• Working in partnership with team heads to meet monthly commercial performance targets.
• Leading monthly commercial meetings presenting to both the clients leads and Head of FP&A.
• Production of the Monthly Management Accounts for final sign off by the Head of FP&A.
• Annual statutory accounts (for CH and HMRC) and Tax computation
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Detailed product profit reports highlighting and correcting any irregularities. 
• Analyse financial data to support management decision making.
• Annual budget forecasts.
• Monthly VAT returns, Intrastat
• Liaise with the Company's Auditors and manage the year-end Audit process.
• Ensure month end procedures are completed within agreed timescales.
• Ensure statutory returns are completed as required.
• Provide support to the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
• Organise the finance team operations and procedures.
• Develop and monitor the team's objectives and performance.
• Assist and be a mentor to the other members of the finance team.
• Liaise with other departments of the business to improve efficiencies and develop reporting requirements.
• Other ad hoc analysis as required by the Head of FP&A
