An opportunity has arisen within a Music & Entertainment focused accountancy practice for an experienced senior tax professional to support the partners providing high level support their portfolios.
This is a varied and interesting role that will see you working with some prominent HNWI and OMB clients. You will be involved in all aspects of the portfolio’s requirements including overseeing all tax and accounting work, alongside project work and ad hoc consultancy.
  
The role will suit an ambitious, experienced and personable tax individual who is looking for career progression and will have the opportunity to be involved with some of the firms most important clients.   
  
  
The role:
  • Day to day responsibilities and management of specific clients, building strong/successful working relationships; providing expert advice and support
  • Work alongside other Managers & Partners to ensure all client’s statutory deadlines & requirements are met
  • Oversee the scheduling and workflows on each job, ensuring deadlines are met and highlighting areas of success or concern to the partners
  • Responsible for monthly billing, managing WIP, billing targets and recoverability
  • Assist Partners with managing and delivering the long term strategy for clients and any resulting project work that arises.
  
  
The person:
  • CTA qualified (ACCA/ICAEW desirable).
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to provide a professional yet personal service and communicating technical information to clients in a simple, clear and effective manner.
  • Able to demonstrate strong technical and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent work ethic and desire to provide a superior client service.
  • Desire to appreciate the bigger picture of the client’s affairs, including the ability to show initiative and find solutions to problems.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work outside of defined parameters.
  • Experience in reviewing the work of others – providing feedback and support where necessary.
  • Experience of working to budgets and managing projects accordingly.
