Axon Moore are working in exclusive partnership with a fantastic employer based in Leeds city centre to assist in the hire of a FP&A accountant. This is a newly created role for an organisation within the technology industry.
The FP&A Accountant will provide support to the Financial Controller to ensure the business reporting is completed accurately and within an agreed timescale.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Assist with data input and manipulation to produce monthly Board and Management Accounts presentation pack
• Variance analysis between actuals and Budget/Forecasts including to analyse, challenge and interpret the month end results
• Provide detailed analysis and insight into variances in sales, margin, overhead and working capital
• Lead analysis of all areas of the P&L to identify opportunities and propose actions to improve profitability
• Assist in preparation of Budgets, including preparation of presentations
This role is perfectly suited for an individual who is a strong analyst looking for the next progressive step in their career. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to show demonstrable interest in the commercial elements of the business.
