Experienced practice accounts senior job in Bournemouth ACA ACCA AAT qualified part qualified

A well-established reputable accountancy practice firm in Bournemouth is looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified Accounts Senior who will be responsible for a broad range of clients, including partnerships, trusts, sole trader and companies covering various trading activities.

The role is primarily office based, however flexibility is required to carry out work or attend meetings at client premises, if necessary. The Accounts team within the office comprises 16 members of staff ranging from Senior Managers to accounts assistants and the team reports to all of the partners within the office on a variety of tasks ranging from outsourcing and management accounts, VAT returns, statutory accounts preparation and adhoc client queries, providing advice to organisations and individuals over a wide geographical spread.

You will primarily be involved in the preparation and review of management and financial accounts, maintenance of client accounting records, assisting managers with looking after a large portfolio of accounts and bookkeeping clients including direct client contact, resolving adhoc client queries and training and support to others in the office.

You will ideally be either ACA or ACCA qualified, with good pass rates and professional training experience should have been broad based with exposure to a good range of clients both in size and sector in general practice. The ability to use Excel and Word is essential and knowledge of Xero, Sage, Keyprime, Farmplan as well as CCH AA and AP would be advantageous

You will also need to be hard working, show initiative and be self-motivated, with the ability to organise and manage your own workload. You will be able to demonstrate a flexible, professional approach and have the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with partners and clients, being a natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and an excellent eye for detail.
