Description

The successful In House Indirect Tax Senior Manager will:

• Provide advisory services on all aspects of VAT (UK, EU and ROW)
• Prepare and submit UK VAT returns via MTD, along with any additional reporting
• Prepare Vat reconciliations
• Ensure all data and information is coded and allocated correctly and provide training across the department as required
• Manage other overseas VAT registrations
• Advise on and manage historic VAT registrations within the US and EU
• Build relationships internally and providing VAT advice and support to the business as required
• Build relationships with External VAT advisors
• Advise on the Vat and Duty implications of EU Warehouse and set up process to optimize the business position
• Calculation of EU duty/VAT provision
• Provide advisory services on International duty

Process Improvements

• Drive automation of all processes within the Finance team
• Identify opportunities to improve the accounting processes and be able to challenge existing ways of doing things

The successful In House Indirect Tax Senior Manager will be:

• Passionate learner who is always striving to improve processes and productivity of the department by seeking feedback and seeking new ideas / approaches
• Communicates in a clear and engaging way that influences others, taking time to understand key stakeholders preferred approach and needs
• Accurately retrieve and collate data to inform decisions
• Able to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload
• Has excellent analytical skills and an ability to get to the heart of complex problems
• Good proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

Job Offer

£65,000 - £75,000 (dependent on experience)
