The responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager will include:

  • Working with a diverse client base from smaller owner managed businesses to international conglomerates in a broad range of industries
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of audit assignments and leading the on site element of the work
  • Prepare and review financial statements
  • Complete audit process with appropriate documentation
  • Preparation of accounts, reports and other assignments as required
  • Development and supervision of junior members of staff
  • Maintain an appropriate level of up to date accounting knowledge

Requirements for the Audit Assistant Manager role:

  • ACA/ ACCA or CA - newly or recently qualified
  • At least three years previous external audit experience in an accountancy practice
  • Technically strong with up to date accounting knowledge
  • Experience of planning,undertaking and documenting full audits
  • A passion for delivery quality and respecting the company values
  • A professional and confident approach to establish credibility with senior managers and clients
  • IT literate
  • Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with others
