We are delighted to be recruiting for the following opportunity to join our established national client, based in Carlisle.

They are searching for an experienced Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant to join their local team (of 6).
Reporting into a highly experienced Senior Management Accountant your role will be to take responsibility for financial reporting for the site, forecasting and budgeting, act as audit POC/lead, complete annual statutory returns and work closely with the transactional SSC to review the invoicing process. You will also have involvement in the management accounting process alongside the Senior Management Accountant.

As the role will manage one individual, it could really suit someone who has previously operated at a more senior level, looking for a role with less responsibility and less hours (4 day week); alternatively a full time candidate with aspirations towards a Finance Manager's role in the future, who needs to add managerial experience to their CV.

The role will be office based for the majority of the time, however longer term they can also offer home working one day a week and/or very flexible start/finish times to work around school hours, for example.

Full study support provided if necessary, along with a competitive base salary and other excellent benefits.
