Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a successful, and fast growing SME business in Rotherham to recruit a Finance Manager.
This role will suit a qualified Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will be a key member of the finance team, working directly with the Head of Finance to implement strong financial controls and reporting.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of the ledgers, ensuring financial control is maintained throughout the system
- Preparation of the Management accounts, and reconciliation schedule
- Recording and understanding of variances and trends in financial performance
- Assist the Head of Finance with budget preparation, forecasting, and flash reporting
- Managing VAT and HMRC liabilities and payments
- Monitor R&D spend
- Preparation of supplier payments
- Preparation of payroll files
- Cash flow forecasting and reporting on financial KPIs
- Identifying process improvements and highlighting insights
- Tracking and controlling supplier rebates
Your willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, alongside a positive and proactive approach to your work will be key to your success in this role.
Benefits include:
- Salary up to £40,000pa
- Discretionary bonus - up to 10%

You will also be able to work from home 1-2 days a week, and there is also some flexibility with start and finish times.
