Senior Cost Accountant

My client, based near Oxford, is at the cutting edge of the Pharma industry. They have experienced a great deal of success and are looking to further strengthen their finance function through the recruitment of a Senior Cost Accountant.

The role will support the wider team and monitor and report the key financial drivers of the Manufacturing function. It will focus on increasing awareness of the implications of operational actions on financial performance. It will lead stock reporting, variance analysis and operational expenses reporting, working with managers from Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply chain. Tasks include:

Improve financial awareness across the businessWork with the supply chain, report variances and implement process improvementsReporting on stock and inventoryAssist with year end accountsPrepare Management reports for Senior managers

You will be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding of cost issues. You will have the ability to influence and support senior managers at the cross-functional level. You will have excellent financial and management reporting knowledge.
