Elevation Senior Finance is delighted to be working with a market-leading Construction organisation based in Leeds who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager.

As a key member of the Finance Team, supporting the Head of Finance, you will provide timely and accurate reporting of financial information required by the business. Assisting the Head of Finance in preparing financial information to guide the strategic direction of the company.

Duties & Responsibilities :

-Preparation of monthly consolidated management
-Preparation of monthly accounting pack for submission to senior management
-Weekly Cash Flow & P&L forecasting
-Development and provision of relevant and insightful reporting and analysis, to drive improved business performance
-Provide comprehensive and compelling financial perspective to operating issues
-Participate in business tactical and strategic discussions
-Assist the Head of Finance in preparing budgets and forecasts
-Product Costing and Analysis
-Reporting on budgetary variances
-Supervision of finance department & ensuring that deadlines are met
-Ensure financial controls are correctly maintained and adhered to
-Assist in preparing business cases for financial investments
-Maintaining and improving the reporting capabilities within the system
-Review/approve HMRC submissions including CIS + VAT returns
-Review/approve monthly payroll calculations and reconciliations
-Lead annual audit process
-Preparation and reporting of key KPI's for the business

Skills & Experience:

-Recognised financial qualification (or QBE)
-Previous industry experience in construction or manufacturing
-Superb IT skills including advanced Excel
-Excellent communication skills
-Experience of change management, particularly system implementation
-Open-minded - Open to new ways of doing things
