Axon Moore are exclusively working with a private equity backed SME in Chorley to recruit a Finance Manager as part of a large scale finance transformation project.

Our client has acquired several businesses in the past couple of years and they are continuing to purchase businesses in line with a specific growth target for 2022. They have doubled year on year and are expecting to continue this trend for the next couple of years.

Axon Moore are recruiting a Finance Manager that will lead a restructure and transformation project for the CFO. Responsibilities will include:

Deputising on behalf of the Group FC and lead key business projects

• Deputising on behalf of the Group FC and lead key business projects
• Building a shared service centre from scratch and begin creating a centralised group finance structure
• Co-ordinating the integration of several recently acquired businesses running on different systems, standardising all processes and controls
• Developing a template for onboarding new acquisitions and lead the execution of this process as and when further businesses are bought
• Overhaul existing finance templates and procedures and standardise processes for all of transactional finance
• Train and manage a medium sized finance team
• Invest in the new CRM and ERP system to develop automised processes and controls
• Develop useful MI to implement SLA’s KPI’s across the team

The ideal profile of candidate will have strong technical finance experience and strong leadership and influencing skills. Our client is open on qualification but they must be CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified with the gravitas to lead a significant project for the investors.
