Your new company
A fast growth SME retailer based in South Oxfordshire is actively seeking a Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Financial Controller to be no2 to the Finance Director. You will be joining a close-knit and energetic team, within a company that maintains a brand that is highly regarded internationally.

Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the production and delivery of monthly management accounts, variance and sales analysis, alongside quarterly budgeting. In addition, you will manage a small finance team, which includes the coordination of the month end close and transactional review, including payroll, VAT and intercompany process. You will ensure that all company statutory requirements are met and maintained, whilst also being the lead point of contact for audit. A final key aspect of this role will be proactively building relationships with the management team and represent finance on major business projects.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be a qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Accountant with strong controls expertise that ranges from reporting, to team management. In addition, you will have significant experience in SME companies, ideally within FMCG or ecommerce. Furthermore, you will be a brilliant communicator, team player and willing to support work at all levels when required. It is also essential that you have a great eye for detail and can comfortably prioritise your workload.
