Management Accountant (12 Month Maternity Cover Contract)- rapidly growing, innovative food related business.

Based: Near Guildford, Surrey

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience) plus  benefits

12 month Maternity Cover

3 days per week in the office, remainder remote working

Seeking a part qualified ACCA, CIMA, AAT  or qualified by experience

Management Accountant - About the role

Working closely alongside the Senior Finance Manager, duties will include:

• Assist the Senior Finance Manager with month end and the production of timely management accounts
• Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts 
• Assist with year end preparation and external audit process
• Provide cover for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Record and reconcile personal expense claims
• Ensure robust financial controls are in place
• Ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Senior Finance Manager

Management Accountant - Candidate requirements:

Looking for an energetic self starter who can hit the ground running...

• Part qualified  CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience
• Good academics and ideally degree educated
• Willing to work in a contract capacity for at least 12 months
• 3 - 8 years of proven finance experience with at least some exposure to working in industry
• Previous experience in a fast moving, dynamic organisation
• Strong system skills and IT literacy
• An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality
• A strong communicator and team player
