An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Accountant within a friendly accountancy practice based in Ruislip.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients (100+) - direct contact with clients encouraged
- Organising and Managing 2 Audits (5-10% of your time)
- Oversee the preparation of personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns, and ensure HMRC deadlines are met
- Preparation of tax computations and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companies
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Training and Developing junior members of staff
Essential requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a practice environment
- Demonstrable experience handling clients
- Audit experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of CCH, PTP, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
- Competent with MS Excel
- Full UK driving licence
- Proof of ongoing CPD, keeping up to date on best practice and standards
Salary: £45k - £55k depending on experience
Hours 9am – 5pm
