Management Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with a market leading Sheffield business in recruiting an experienced Management Accountant to join the growing finance team.

Due to consistent year on year growth there is a need for an experienced Management Accountant to join the business and will be integral to continuing the projected growth.

This brilliant opportunity would suit someone who is confident with systems and MS Excel (V Look ups, Pivot Tables) alongside possessing the experience of being a team player and a focused individual who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the day-to-day tasks.

You will need the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders across the business as you will be interacting with various other departments - with a focus on relationship building, teamwork and problem solving.

Responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Preparation and posting of month end journals, including accruals and prepayments
*Preparing budgets
*Preparing forecasts
*Monitoring coding of financial transactions and maintaining an accurate ledger
*Monthly reconciliation
*Balance sheet maintenance and reconciliations
*Maintain fixed asset register
*Quarterly VAT returns
*Weekly payment runs
*Cash management
*Ad hoc project work
