Otto James Consulting Search & Selection has been engaged by one of the UK’s leading Private Equity Houses, to recruit an Interim Financial Planning & Analytics Manager to oversee a Mergers and Acquisitions Project.

Ideally looking for a Financial Planning & Modelling Manager who can undertake Mergers and Acquisitions Project on an immediate start.

The Role

The role of Financial Planning & Modelling Manager has been created to help drive the acquisitive opportunities in the organisation, while supporting the MI reporting lines within the organisation and Private Equity backers
  
The Interim Financial Planning & Modelling Manager will support the organisation in the delivery and dissemination of highly complex and integral data. You will be responsible for taking this information and delivering to the key stakeholders cross functionally while also working automatously with the wider leadership teams. This is a high level position with the organisation, and therefore your reporting line will be directly into the Group Head of Investment, who has highlighted this as a key position within his organisation and therefore will mentor the successful applicant directly.
  
Key Area’s / Responsibility / Requirements
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Financial Planning & Analysis - Advanced Excel (Macros, modelling, pivot tables, and lookups),
  • Data Modelling – Data warehouse
  • Highly collaborative with a high level of communicative reporting skills 
The successful qualified accountant is to be encouraged to engage with senior board, to help drive finances exposure across the business. Yours skills as an accounting professional and a commercial modeller will be utilised to help drive profit.

The highly communicative nature of this role, and its twinning with detailed reporting and business critical information, means that this role is suited to Qualified accounting professional who understand how complex information can be delivered to targeted audience in a fashion which ensures the team, division and organisation reach their goal. Happy to see applications straight from practice ACA as well as CIMA qualified from commerce and industry
