Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a North West based PLC who are looking to expand their Group division with the hire of a FP&A Manager. This newly created role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA who has a strong desire to move into an agile, fast paced analytical role with proven experience in industry.
The role will be reporting into a highly established team with a track record of providing excellent career progression.
About the role
Reporting into the Group Head of FP&A, this is a pivot role is the continual development of commercial finance within the business. With regular exposure to acquired business and senior stakeholders, the position will suit someone who enjoys a varied, project focused role with clear value add.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset, strong excel capability and a proven track record in adding value.
Key Responsibilities
o Building complex financial models in our CPM (corporate performance management) tool Anaplan
o Ranging for short to long term forecasting of the whole business
o Working with a wide range of stakeholders across finance (Group, commercial and operational teams)
o Helping support the wider FP&A strategy in delivering robust and accurate forecasting processes
o Supporting on investor relations activities
Desirable background
o 2 years post qualified in industry with relevant experience in forecasting / planning
o Previous experience using Anaplan is desirable but not required
o Strong excel and technical ability is essential
