Accountable Recruitment are working with an established accountancy practice based in St Helen's. Due to growth, the practice is now looking to appoint a Practice Accountant on a full time and permanent basis.
JOB TITLE: Practice Accountant
JOB TYPE: Full time and Permanent
SALARY: Up to £30k (DOE) plus study support available
DUTIES:
- Responsible for preparing year end accounts for a range of different sized clients
- Corporate Tax returns
- VAT returns
- Ensure submissions are in accordance with HMRC and Companies House deadlines respectively.
- Manage your own small portfolio of clients
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Fully qualified/Part qualified/QBE will be considered
- At least 3 years of experience working within a accountancy practice as within Accounts function is essentia
- Knowledge of digita, sage, and xero softwares desirable but not essential
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
