Vacancy: FINANCE MANAGER
Salary £ to £35,000
Based: Henley In Arden, Warwickshire.

Greenwellgleeson is working with a leasing and fleet management company that has seen exponential growth over the last 10 years with a turnover of £10m. The business now manages some 25,500 vehicles the length and breadth of the UK and is a FN50 leasing company.

Significant systems investment has positioned the business as one of the most forward thinking, advanced fleet solution providers in the UK.

Exciting plans are afoot, with new products, services and ground breaking online systems all under development. In particular, the business is expanding further into the fleet funding market, having been ranked in the FN50 within 18 months of entering the market.

To consolidate this growth and prepare the business for further expansion, we are inviting applications for the full-time position of Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is an exciting opportunity for a confident, performance driven individual to join a vibrant organisation leading change in the fleet industry.

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of the team.

As a self-motivated, driven Finance Manager, the need to be "hands-on" is essential as you will oversee all aspects of the company's financial activities and play a major part in the next phase of the company's growth plans. Providing sound financial advice and reporting to the Finance Director you will ensure that continues to operate robust policies and procedures.

Key Tasks:

*Month end processes up to and including preparation of the monthly management accounts with commentary and variance reporting.
*Manage the integrity of all ledgers - nominal, purchase and sales including help with transactional processing as and when necessary.
*Assisting with Year End Financial Accounts and Audit
*Assisting in the budget preparation
*Work closely with the Finance Director in systems development and reporting improvements, operational KPI reviews
*Profitability analysis by product and by customer
*Cash flow reporting and working capital management.
*Investigation of variances to budget
*Ensure that all statutory requirements, notices and filings are complied with including VAT returns.
*Review and analysis of spend within the company including areas such as marketing and sales.
*Development of 3 direct reports, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & Management Accountant
*Liaison with External Bodies - Bank, HMRC, Audit
*Ad-hoc Financial & Commercial Projects

THE CANDIDATE

*AAT or newly qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
*Experience of working in a busy finance team within an SME environment.
*Detail orientated and technically strong with excellent Excel skills including VBA and macros.
*Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query would be a distinct advantage.
*Ability to work accurately in a busy, demanding environment, whist adhering to deadlines.
*A self-starter with a positive "can do" attitude and a down to earth approachable manner A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively.
*Commercially aware.
*Automotive experience, or experience in an automotive environment (not essential but an advantage).
