Interim Group Finance Manager

My client, a private equity backed sme requires an interim finance manager to support a small finance team and business partner with the wider organisation during a period of growth and change.

Specifically this role will be responsible for the financial reporting and the management accounting for a division of this multi faceted organisation. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for a small but complex consolidation and a team of junior accountants. Following a period of rapid expansion there is some process improvement work to be done in conjunction with the new senior finance manager. This role will also work with the wider business (including non finance individuals) so has an element of business partnering.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a solid financial accounting background. Experience of managing and mentoring a small team is essential along with the ability to prioritise and business partner with both finance and non finance individuals. Finally, a demonstrable track record of business improvement would be very useful.

Due to the timescale on this role we are looking for candidates that are either immediately available or with a weeks notice. The company is planning to gradually return to the office so this role will adopt a hybrid working model.
