Given successful business development and growth, this firm is recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to join its approximately 200-strong National Compliance Team. A forward thinking firm, various working arrangements will be considered, such as full-time and part-time hours as well as individuals who wish to be part-office based or largely remote on a permanent basis. Your new role
Joining a well-established and growing National Compliance Team, you will work with an enviable and diverse range of clients, from multinationals to smaller mid-tier clients across various sectors, to ensure they meet their compliance requirements. You will provide advice on related compliance issues, including paying and minimising their tax liabilities. In order to do so, you will complete engagement planning with clients, review and submit tax accounting schedules, and review and submit corporation tax returns; all involving regular contact with the client, over the phone, email and video conference. You will also identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to process improvement, as well as manage more junior staff members, ensuring work is completed in line with deadlines and in budget.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will have a proven track record for delivering corporate tax compliance services. This will ideally be complimented by a relevant professional qualification, such as ICAS or CTA. You will have good GAAP and IFRS tax accounting knowledge and be able to manage clients and individuals successfully. You will also possess initiative, enthusiasm and professionalism, with the ability to contribute to a team and develop strong relationships.
