Given successful business development and growth, this firm is recruiting for a Tax Manager and Senior Tax Manager with particular interest and experience in M&A to join its approximately 450-strong National Transactions Team. A forward thinking firm, various working arrangements may be considered.

Your new role
Joining a well-established and growing National Transactions Team, you will assist an enviable and diverse range of clients with various aspects of mergers and acquisitions, such as restructuring, divestiture, modelling, partnerships and insolvency. You will focus on helping customers establish treasury goals, analyse and quantify tax assets, assess tax risks, and model taxable income and cash flow impacts. Given the firm's reputation, you will have the opportunity work with a wide array of organisations, from Private Equity Houses to Public Sector clients - the national team has a truly global reach, facilitating high-profile transactions across numerous territories. Should you have a particular interest in certain client types, such as private equity, real estate, legal firms or financial services to name but a few examples, the firm will be able to allocate projects and portfolios accordingly. As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will personally and collaboratively develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and assist in the management and delivery of these large projects. You will support with the financial management of clients, be involved in business development and research opportunities, and manage and develop more junior staff members.

What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate a proven track record within tax in a practice or in-house environment, managing clients and relationships successfully, with particular knowledge of the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions should you wish to join at Senior Manager level. Ideally, you will be ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and exhibit commercialism and creativity alongside a passion for supporting and advising businesses achieve their potential.
