Senior Finance IT Business Partner
The role requires someone who can provide strong Stakeholder management to support the CIO and CFO.
The position is to support the IT function through P&L Management, monitoring Capital Expenditure and supporting all Business cases. The work on all Business cases is from approval stage through to implementation/ live.
This is an opportunity for someone to sit within the Business unit away from mainstream Finance and be a part of making Business decisions. This person will advise the senior stakeholders on the financial base of the function, they will interpret, analyse and be a key part of driving performance.
- It will provide opportunity to look at all cost optimisation opportunities and lead to an overall improvement to the cost base, adding bottom line value.
- A lot of the discussions, outcomes and improvements will be driven through the management of meetings and providing high quality decision support analysis.
- There will be the need to balance off multiple priorities of the CIO, CFO, as well as regional and Group Finance functions.
Further to the above there will be a lot of involvement in relevant Project work and guiding the Project Accountant to identify and implement standard processes/ approaches to Project Accounting, with an emphasis on greater systematised information.
The type of individual required for this role will have an Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or ICAS), have strong a demonstrable Business Partnering skills in a Finance function and have experience managing an expense/ cost base.
