Fund Controller - Pan European Real Estate. THE CLIENT is a thriving and dynamic, specialist real estate investor and asset manager operating across the UK and Europe and boasting an impressive portfolio of properties worth £multi-billion. They are seeking to add an experienced Fund Controller to their London based team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the role will see the successful individual carrying out the following responsibilities on a range of international funds / SPVs:

• Supporting the Finance Director during the launch of single or multi-jurisdiction European Real Estate Funds.
• Responsibility for monthly financial reporting under IFRS or UK accounting principles and practices.
• Responsibility for liaising with various service providers to the funds including accountants, banks, administrators, lawyers and custodians.
• Preparing and reviewing of consolidated annual financial statements.
• Delivering of supporting documentation for annual audit processes.
• Managing the relationship with the auditors, treasury affairs for the Group and any subsidiary entities thereof.
• Responsibility for quarterly investor reporting.
• Liaising with the investment team where required and having oversight of the financial affairs and funding structure for such entities.
• Supporting new fund launches.

THE PERSON - You should ideally be a qualified chartered accountant (ACA/CA) with solid previous experience of working within European real estate fund accounting and reporting. As well as the experience and qualification, the successful candidate will possess an understanding of different European real estate fund structures, and a thorough understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP to allow you to assume responsibility of a mixed portfolio of funds and SPVs - including French entities. If you possess these traits and can demonstrate a strong and professional mindset, exposure to basic principles of service charge accounts, and can exhibit previous experience of using a property system such as Yardi Voyager or QUBE Horizon, then this role proves to be an exciting opportunity for you.
