Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager

Are you an experienced Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager with a pragmatic attitude and experience working within an Investment Banking environment?

This role would play a key role in the migration of ETD products from the implementation of next generation ETD back-office technology solution and its associated operational workflows (XTP)

Responsibilities include:

Strong business analysis and project management skills are needed to join the Clearing Change Team to take responsibility for the delivery of a cross centre business migration for our ETD business.This role will require analysis of existing processes and flows, plus operational implementation, working with various areas of Technology, Front Office and Global BAU teams in Operations.The successful candidate will be required to act independently and with flexibility; multi-tasking but still ensuring strong attention to detail, in line with HSBC project and control standards.Ensuring that all analysis is performed to a high standard and in accordance with HSBC project governance principlesEngaging with all internal project stakeholders to ensure requirements are metEnsuring that all project documentation is produced to the highest quality, on time and with appropriate sign-offs obtained.Working closely with colleagues in BAU Operations, Technology and the Business to ensure that processes are implemented appropriately & in accordance with stakeholder expectations and regulatory / compliance protocols

Process mapping & analysisRequirements gatheringDocumentation preparation for testing and management of testing phase with SMEsProcess re-engineeringVery strong investigative skillsGood understanding of operational riskExcellent relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholdersVery strong communication, escalation and issue management skills.Operations experience at a top tier broker or Investment BankETD product and system knowledge highly desirableETD Operations knowledge is preferred
