SF Recruitment are supporting a thriving SME business, who are based in Kings Norton to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant with an immediate start. My client are a specialist in their field and have had a sustained period of growth in recent years. Having started in the West Midlands, they now operate across the UK and are proud of the welcoming and friendly culture amongst the teams. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant who can join the business and be a positive contribution to the team and the company.

- Set up & amending customer accounts in Sage
- Process Termination of customer Accounts in Sage
- Check and match GRN, coding & entering supplier invoices in Sage
- Raise & allocate Supplier payments
- Monitor Accounts email inbox
- Resolve Invoice queries
- Set up and amend direct debits.
- Respond to email inbox (Outlook) and deal with these accordingly.
- Any other finance administration and procedures as and when required keeping accurate records at all times.
- A professional and courteous manner
- Strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles
- High level of accuracy and efficiency.
- A good knowledge of Sage Accounts is preferable.
- A strong knowledge of Excel and the ability to produce amend and populate Excel spreadsheets.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines with confidence.
This is a full time opportunity working 8:30 - 5pm Monday to Friday, you will be required to work in the office full time in line with social distancing and Covod-19 measures. Due to the location of the business being able to commute in your own vehicle is advantageous.
