This opportunity is not to be missed. I am looking for an ambitious, qualified accountant, ideally with a large practice background who is looking to make their first move into Deals and Corporate Advisory. My client is one of the regions recent success stories and they are currently going through a phenomenal phase of growth. 

The Deals Executive will be part of a brilliant team who already have an excellent reputation. You will work with some of the best in the business and have the opportunity to influence and shape the direction of the business from day one. You will be mentored by an impressive leadership team who have extensive corporate finance networks and a track record of developing high performing individuals and teams. 

My client is based in central Manchester but has a full agile and flexible working policy allowing you to work from home when you want. The business is built on a High Trust, High Performance culture and you will have the autonomy and opportunity to shape your career in corporate finance/advisory and be well rewarded. 

Key Responsibilities:

Understands how to critique the strategic position of a business and its business plan
Understands and can explain where the value from a deal/project is to be created (base value synergies, new strategies, working capital) 
Understands the valuation, pricing and financing structure
Performs appropriate data analysis, interprets analysis and reports findings to the EP, creates graphs or tables suitable for inclusion in reports
Shows an understanding for wider deal/project issues (not just own analysis) and can articulate consequences for the transaction/client
Builds relationships with appropriate level of client and target staff and develops these post-transaction/project
Demonstrates awareness of current M&A/sector/ market trends

Key Person Requirements:

Qualified Accountant, ideally with large practice background
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
Ability to adapt behaviour to different people or situations
Ability to Project a professional mature image
Adopt a positive attitude to all responsibilities and tasks
Shows drive, ambition, commitment and enthusiasm at all times, and maintains this during times of pressure
Takes personal ownership (responsibility and accountability) for own work and performance
Actively manages workload; seeks additional tasks (client facing and non-client facing)
Consults with more experienced colleagues on a regular basis
Actively maintains and updates technical knowledge
