Gloucester - Remote working arrangements with travel to our Head Office in Gloucester on occasion

£24,000 per annum

Full Time (37 hours per week)

Maternity cover - 12 -15 months

About the role: This role will focus on the maintenance of the debtor’s ledger for non-rental debts. To support the cashflow function debts should be raised in an accurate and timely manner with debtor levels maintained at a reasonably low balance. Other tasks will include recording of corporate credit transactions and associated approvals, posting daily bank transactions to the general ledger and supporting the rest of the finance team as needed, including providing cover for absences. The role is to provide cover whilst their Finance Officer is on maternity leave. 


About you: They are looking for someone who has plenty of experience in a Finance Officer role to step into this role and maintain a high standard of work whilst the Finance Officer is on maternity leave. This role includes talking to external debtors regarding outstanding debts and so the ability to deal with these situations appropriately is essential. You must enjoy working in a team. Most of this role will be home working; therefore, you must be happy working from home.
