This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join this expanding business operating in a very specialised technology sector. The role is to support the Finance Director in all aspects of providing transactional accounting support to assisting with the month-end process and other areas as required. The company is quite project orientated so prior exposure this type of business would be an advantage. The company is relatively small currently, but the parent has ambitious growth plans that will see the business aim to double turnover in the next two to three years.
As an individual you will have excellent all-round accounting abilities including nominal and general ledger exposure and be used to assisting with the month-end reporting pack. Ideally you will be part-qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) but more importantly have a “can-do” attitude and the ability work unsupervised using your own initiative. There is a substantial amount of complex spreadsheet work involved so excellent Excel skills are a must.
