Management Accountant

Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is supporting the recruitment needs of a national service provider in Liverpool with the appointment of an Interim Management Accountant on a 12 month, fixed term contract.

Commencing work immediately - this is an urgent need for a qualified accountant to join the business and provide much needed support to the senior management team.

The ideal applicant will be CIMA / ACCA qualified and/or at Finalist level, whilst possessing a proven background producing month end management accounts. You will be a technical, enthusiastic accountant who enjoys a level of responsibility and is comfortable providing support to senior management.

You will be accustomed to working independently, producing accurate work at month end. You will receive a thorough hand over and once up to speed, be responsible for producing management accounts for three P&L's.

The successful new appointment will be responsible for:

• Providing essential financial support to the Financial Controller and senior management team
• Producing monthly management accounts, Balance Sheet reconciliations, P&L, VAT returns and inter-company
• Supporting the commercial team with variance analysis
• Assist with the production of budget / forecasting

The ideal applicant, will be:

• Immediately available for work
• Qualified / Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA
• Capable of working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• A conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail
• Strong MS Excel skills, knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle) would be of use but not essential
