Accounting Manager

SF Recruitment are currently working with a Bromsgrove business in the recruitment of an Accounting Manager.

The successful candidate will ideally be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified or AAT Qualified by experience with experience gained at a similar level within an SME Business.

This is a hands on role reporting to the FD with responsibility for:

- IFRS monthly close and year-end for UK company within international IFRS Group
- Ensure integrity of financial data provided to other areas of the business
- Production and submission of VAT returns
- Cashflow forecasts
- Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102
- Main point of contact for UK external auditors
- Improvement of financial controls and monthly close procedures
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with UK and international colleagues
- Support with Budgeting and forecasting
