Financial Reporting Manager required for one of the North West's recent success stories. My client is a large and well established business that has gone through a phenomenal phase of growth and is now looking to hire a sFinancial Reporting Manger due to an internal promotion. This business has an excellent reputation and the Financial Reporting Manager role will be varied and interesting with significant opportunities for progression and development. 

The ideal candidate will be from a large practice background. 

You must possess strong communication skills and be an ambitious and hard-working individual looking for your next challenge. This role will suit a proactive individual that has the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong team management skills and ability to delegate and coordinate effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of operating in a tight control environment
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and implementing new ways of doing things
  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Have a good working knowledge of Excel and other tools
  • Experience of Group accounts and dealing with multiple subsidiary companies
  • Experience with preparation/audit of statutory accounts under IFRS

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ownership of the Group year end and interim financial statements
  • Key point of contact for external auditors
  • Ownership of local subsidiary financial statements and filing requirements
  • Ownership of month end accounts process, including consolidation, preparation of Board packs and monthly variance analysis for actual results against budget and forecast
  • Maintaining and reviewing the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, including reviews of the Group’s revenue recognition process at consolidated level
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with staff internally and with external suppliers, such as in country accounting and tax suppliers and banks
  • Implementing new processes and improving current procedures to support development of our control environment
  • Responding to ad-hoc queries from the CFO and wider Board
