Assistant Accountant - Part Qualified

Experienced Part Qualified Assistant Accountant required for a large global business in Sheffield City Centre. The team is currently undergoing a number of changes and this role will assisting in maintaining processes/activities as well as to look for opportunities to improve/streamline current processes in order to allow the existing team to meet the firms overall Finance Reporting Strategy whilst also building internal relationships, 

Duties to include:

• Various month end tasks as required
• Assisting with budgeting  & forecasting
• Manual month end reporting tasks to ensuring continuing service delivery of flash reports / management reporting packs etc
• Supporting the Finance Reporting Accounting Team Leader and the Reporting Analytics Team Leader as well as Management Accounts
• Provide support and ad-hoc reporting to other areas of the business e.g. secretaries and fee earners.
• Assisting with testing and transition to automate reports as required
• Opportunities to get involved in various new projects within the team and with other finance teams as required – may include projects, data analysis and testing as required
• Other ad hoc duties as required
