Axon Moore are partnering with a hugely successful organisation who are looking for an interim Financial Controller, potential to go temporary to permanent.
Working with a highly successful business based outside of the city centre. Currently in the middle of a PE cycle with a new deal potentially on the horizon. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to PE.
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for overseeing the monthly reporting and accounting cycle and ensuring all tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The Group has incredibly ambitious growth plans, as Financial Controller you will play an important role and be part of the Senior Leadership team. Part of your remit will be to assist the FD with acquisition targeting and integration, plus work closely with the Private Equity house.

Duties:
- Managing of team of 8 – combination or transactional and qualified staff
- Overseeing operational finance tasks across the wider group.
- Having regular 1-2-1s, setting objectives for the team.
- Dealing with large volumes and managing a team are an essential skill
- Responsible for all tax & audit compliance plus any reporting requirements from the PE house
- Preparation of the monthly finance pack & consolidation
- Working with the commercial finance manager on the preparation of budgets & forecasts.
- An experienced Financial Controller with several years PQE experience
- Previously dealt with large volumes of transactions
- Managed a team with a variety of experience
- Worked with high growth SM’s in previous roles
- PE experience is advantageous
