Your new company
Internationally recognised market leading manufacturing business is actively seeking a Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant to join their tight-knit and dynamic finance team. The role will report into the Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the Finance Director and you will be responsible for the production of management information for the senior management team.

Your new role
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for processing you will oversee preparation of monthly management accounts, including posting accruals, prepayments and managing the balance sheet, VAT returns, Intrastat and EC sales lists. You will manage the company's grant claims including forecasting, reporting and a managing the audit process, whilst proactively tracking project costs and reporting actuals against budget. In addition, both purchase ledger invoices and payment of suppliers as well as bank transactions and performing bank reconciliations. A final aspect of this role will be assisting the year end audit process which involves preparing statutory accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be a qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA Accountant, with a varied skillset that ranges from managing transactional accounting all the way through to reporting and VAT, as well as strong excel skills. In addition, you will have previous experience as a Management Accountant or similar, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering or project-based environment. Furthermore, it would be beneficial if you have previous experience working In SME or significant experience with cost to complete revenue recognition.
