Finance Analyst

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire our client seeks a Finance Analyst to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

This is a key reporting and analytical role which has influence across the business including the Senior Leadership Team. The role focuses on the accurate and timely analysis and reporting of business drivers and results across key P&L lines.

The company is growing rapidly in the UK with plans over the next five years to achieve significant growth as in the US.

The successful individual will be a graduate with a minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a commercial organisation, preferably educated to a degree level (2:1 or higher). They will be highly organised with good prioritisation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills and advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products is essential.

Job responsibilities:

Periodic financial reporting and analysis of COS, Semis, Fixed costs, COL including challenging and supporting the business on their periodic resultsSupport periodic and quarterly Investor reporting, including preparing balance sheet account reconciliationsEnsure that Control and Audit requirements are embedded across the team and dealing with both Internal and External Audit partnersReviewing actual performance against forecast, preparing analysis on variances for Period End meetings. Challenging and supporting the business to ensure accurate and robust forecasts / targets are achievedAd hoc financial analysis
