Investment Analyst

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading Sheffield business in sourcing a personable and driven Investment Analyst to join the wider Investment team, working closely with colleagues from other offices.

The company provide a range of services including actuarial support, finance & accounting functions, investment monitoring and implementation and secretariat services.
They are looking to recruit a Senior member within the Investment Operations team who possesses good and relevant experience alongside a high level of competency in the use of various IT applications, ability to pick up new IT packages quickly and analyse numerical data and convert into reporting and presentational material.

This role has become available due to continued growth and will be joining a team of 4 - directly reporting into the Investment Manager working closely with other colleagues/stakeholders.

You will be comfortable extracting data and with systems (MS Excel), reporting on performance and reconciliations.

The Investment Operations team is based in Sheffield and is responsible for a broad range of functions including:

*Operational support to London based investment colleagues, including all aspects of investment implementation work.
*Cash management, including daily treasury services for the various Schemes.
*Management information focussing primarily investment valuations, investment performance monitoring, compliance, cashflow forecasting, cost information, income and asset liability modelling.
*Custody focussed work including tax filings and tax reclaims, securities lending and securities litigation.
*Maintenance of key 3rd party relationships including the Schemes' custodian, investment managers and legal advisers.
