The opportunity
Following a market recap earlier this year, a listed software business is looking to execute a “buy & build strategy” to scale revenues from £10m to £50m over the next 2/3 years. There will be an international focus, targeting deals across the UK, EU, US and Australasia to increase market share and geographical footprint. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing business in a role with a big emphasis on M&A.
The role
The 3 key aspects of the role are as follows:
- M&A execution
- Operational finance (building a scalable finance function to support a period of rapid growth)
- Investor relations
In addition, you will act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, ensuring good quality MI & data is at the heart of decision making.
Key requirements
- Experience in transaction services/ corporate finance advisory
- Demonstrable experience in a CFO role
- Previously worked for a high growth software/ SaaS business
- International reporting experience (IFRS)
