Semi Senior Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading independent accountancy firm based in Hull.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Business Services division.

As a Semi Senior Accountant you will complete bookkeeping on a monthly & quarterly basis, prepare year-end accounts for a wide range of clients and complete VAT returns. You will also be given the opportunity to assist with cloud conversions.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Accounts Preparation for Ltd companies, partnerships & sole traders
- Bookkeeping & VAT preparation
- Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns

The successful candidate will be:

- AAT Qualified and /or have a minimum of 2 years' experience in practice
- A strong communicator who enjoys working in a team
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with Xero (desirable)
