Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a thriving & reputable business based in the Leeds area who have a rare opportunity for a driven and bubbly Part-Qualified Management Accountant to provide technical and accounting support to UK Accounting Team Leader and produce required reports and analysis in line with monthly and yearly accounting timetable.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

* Contribute to production of 1st draft flash and management accounts submissions for UK Accounting Team Leader review including analysis on key expense lines e. IT, training, travel
* Produce budget variance analysis for cost centre manager meetings and as support to FD report pack
* Maintain all UK company accruals and prepayments schedules and ensure they are reconciled to SAGE accounting records, provide fair and true reflection of costs matched to the period they relate and are fully justified by supporting documentation
* Provide support to UK Accounting Team Leader in respect of all processing associated with the production of the UK budget and rolling forecasts
* Process intercompany invoices and liaise with markets to make sure that any discrepancies are resolved
* Produce monthly Financial Control Framework Reports and required supporting reconciliations for all UK companies as part of monthly balance sheet control process
* Maintain all processes and reports for a variety of tasks including: bank reconciliations, PO accruals, SAGE close

To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:

* Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* Knowledge of accounting software packages, not exclusively but preferably SAGE 200
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, V & H Look Ups, Sum IF's etc.
* Attention to detail and good logic and analytical skills
* Able to organise and prioritise workload to ensure tight deadlines are achieved.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in preparation of management accounts / monthly reports
* Experience in liaising with budget holders
* Experience of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
* A proven track record of being able to work autonomously when required
