Financial Planning & Reporting Accountant

FP&A/Reporting Accountant | £45,000-£50,000 | Lancashire | High-Growth, PE Backed Online Business

This is a really exciting opportunity for a highly ambitious ACA/ACCA to join a PE-backed business based close to Blackburn.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Reporting, you will be required to:

• Preparation of statutory year end reporting
• Managing the annual audit and preparation of year-end statutory accounts
• Support the divisional finance teams with the application of IFRS within a business.
• Preparation of period end consolidated Group Board, investor and management reports.
• Preparing Budget and forecasting cycles to build P&Ls, Balance sheets and cashflows.
• Working collaboratively with key stakeholders in challenging the business on its forecasting and budgeting, through insightful analysis.
• Building value-adding relationships with senior operational management across the business to drive improved financial performance.
• Implementation and maintenance of Group Planning tool to allow fast, data driven reporting.

You will ideally be ACCA/ACA Qualified and Big 4/Top 10 trained as this role requires a strong technical accountant to be involved in the production of Stat Accounts and Reporting. However, you will be working closely with the Commercial & Operational teams on Budgets/Forecasts and Analysis, so if you are looking for a role where you can utilise your core technical skills, whilst being involved in shaping and driving the financial planning of the business to achieve strategic objectives, then this role is for you!
