Do you come from a finance background but have a passion for data? Could you consider yourself the holy grail of a hybrid finance/data specialist? Have you had exposure to dashboard creation (preferably Tableau) and have a desire to further enhance this skill set? Are you an expert on excel with knowledge of some SQL? MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining the existing manual and automated data extraction routines and KPI dashboards (currently on Tableau), and regular management information reports
- Develop financial models for revenue and capacity budgeting and forecasting, identifying areas of opportunity and risk against plan targets (VBA level excel)
- Develop service line and service line margin analysis
- Provide insight to the senior management team into trends and variances
- Interpret user requirements for new Management Information or Performance Measures and develop appropriate information solutions, identifying or creating the datasets that can be used to measure business processes and goals.
- Develop solutions to integrate new clinics and new IT systems into our MI system
- Respond to ad-hoc information requests
- Provide expert input into the development of new IT applications, to ensure that IT developments will provide or facilitate necessary management information.
- Contribute to the development of the Group’s general use of Information Technology
Skills & Experience
Essential Technical skills:
- Knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience using Tableau or similar MI dashboard
- Understanding of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
- Excel, (including use in forecasting/modelling)
Desirable:
- Understanding of Finance, Part-Qualified/Qualified would be excellent
- Healthcare, private equity, multi-site or similar sector experience
- MS Access, MS Powerpoint
