Interim Cost Accountant

Up to £250 per day

Leeds based || 3 month project

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading PE backed manufacturing business based in Leeds, to help them support on going projects by bringing in an interim Cost Accountant.

This role will be working with a fantastic FD, and will have full visibility across the business.

Duties include:

• Prepare and maintain reports which identify and investigate margin variances
• Produce monthly management accounts pack for board including complex analysis
• Analysis of sales / cos / gross margin using standard costing
• Analysis and reconciliation of P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Calculate the profit and loss of the company
• Provide sales/stock analysis including trend and variance analysis
• Monitor sales and analyse performance against budget
• Calculate and analyse product inventory costs and evaluate margin
• Reconcile stock account and provide calculation for stock movements
• Run and reconcile monthly stock and WIP reports
• Perform month-end procedures including period closure
