Commercial Finance Analyst

Commercially minded Finance Analyst role with involvement in the day-to-day finance function while workng closely with the FC & senior leadership team to determine the company's ongoing strategy.

Description

• Prepare and maintaining the business plan following direction of the Senior management
• Adhoc return on investment appraisal and associated analyst
• Working alongside the Financial Controller to prepared budgets & re-forecast
• Support on acquisition and merger through financial modelling and due diligence
• Support on fund raise through financial modelling and due diligence
• Provide financial contribute in preparing board and investor presentations
• Develop reporting tool and systems
• Source, analyse and present market data to support investment opportunities
• Support the with the annual audit
• Provide support and cover for the wider finance team as required

Profile

• 2-year post qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Work in industry, ideal candidate will have power generation experience
• Advance excel and power pointe skills
• Ability to present simply (both visually and verbally) complex analysis
• Experience of acquisitions and mergers.
• Experience in working in a PLC environments desirable
• Good knowledge of SQL & Microsoft BI is desirable
• Knowledge of Zero and Sage account package is desirable

Job Offer

Salary of upto c£40,000 with a 20%-30% annual bonus and benefits
