Financial Systems Accountant

Reporting to the FP&A Director, the Financial Systems Accountant will be primarily responsible for rolling out a new Tagetik business intelligence system across all business lines. This will involve building a database and delivering management reporting (budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, dashboards) in order to drive decision making across the business.

Financial Systems Accountant Responsibilities:

• Expanding the Tagetik footprint across the business
• Managing the administration of the system
• Assuming the role of subject matter expert in building reports and dashboards
• Liaising with a multitude of stakeholders and functions in order to deliver confidence in the business optimising system usage
• Managing projects and process improvements
• Delivering value by training and developing staff

   

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or proven finance experience
• Strong financial systems background with experience of delivering Tagetik
• Demonstrable experience of working with both finance and non finance personnel
• Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and management information
• Ability to manage master data
• ‘Hands on’ proactive attitude with good commercial awareness
• Highly competent Excel skills
