Our listed FMCG client require an Interim Head of External Reporting for 6months initially, based in Yorkshire.

The role will be reporting into the Group FC, and have responsibility for maintaining, improving and enhancing reporting controls and processes to PLC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive best practice external reporting process and control to PLC standards
  • Manage 4 direct reports across treasury, tax and the consolidation of FP&A budgeting/forecasting
  • Ensure the adept and timely delivery of group consolidated accounts
  • Manage the banking facilities, and multi-currency management re. risk, cash and reporting
  • Support various ad-hoc systems/technical projects

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
  • Technically literate within a PLC environment – knowledge of IFRS16 beneficial but not essential
  • Strong team management skills; leading and delivering best-practice

You will be required to be in the office for 1-2 days minimum, with the rest worked remotely. The role is deemed inside of IR35 and therefore is on a FTC, with the potential to convert permanently with a guidance of circa. £90-100k base.
