Finance Manager

SF Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Rugby based manufacturing and distribution business who are looking for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.

The business in question has experienced growth in the last couple of years and they have further plans to expand, in which you will play a key role, ensuring finance remains as a well regarded and pivotal part of the success in the business.

In this newly created role, you will be working with a well established Finance Director and will be an all round finance professional who possesses good commercial acumen. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3, ensuring they are mentored and helped in their career progression. The following duties will also fall under your remit:

Production of monthly management accounts and variance analysis thereon
Working with sales team to drive increases in group margin
Balance sheet reconciliations
Monitoring stock and inventory
Tax planning and control
Audit planning

This role does not need a clock watcher and my client is looking for someone who will really roll their sleeves up to get the job done in a professional manner.

Ideally you will come from either a manufacturing or distribution background and will be looking for a step into a business where there is a lot to do and one in which you will be able to be part of the growth plans.

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to be considered for this role.

The business has been operating in a COVID safe way and in this role, once things have opened up fully, there will be a requirement to be on site 5 days a week.
