Finance Director – Property Development

Our client is a leading mixed-tenure developer, providing modern and efficient delivery methods to create sustainable communities across the UK.  They are currently seeking a Finance Director – Property Development to take full ownership on all aspects of financial control and reporting for a newly developed region across the Chilterns and Northern Home Counties region

The main responsibilities will be to:

• Review and challenge changes in cash flow of all appraisals including margins and
• fund changes
• Review and challenge upcoming receipts and payments
• Run the monthly forecast and review the Half year and Full Year outturn
• Support the development of financial modelling / strategy of sites, such as bulk sales
• and programme changes
• Understand new business forecasts and integrate this into budget and forecasts,
• supporting with finance queries
• Review the flash and management accounts
• Run the monthly forecast and review the half year and full year outturn

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced in management of the budgetary process and cost control
• Have relevant sector experience and a keen interest in the property industry
• Be comfortable leading and motivating teams
• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Have had exposure to joint ventures, M&A activity, business risk management, external audit, systems implementations
